If you stopped on this part of my website, you probably want to know more about me or my gallery. Well... first I want to let you know that I want this site to be AUTHENTIC, TRANSPARENT and truly reflect who I am. My name is Shina-Olga Diadhiou, I am a multimedia artist from Côte d'Ivoire and Sénégal.

To be honest with you, I hate writing... which explains why I paint so much! Duuh!

I simply started Shina's Gallery on October 2018 after a horrible break-up. It sounds cheesy I know, but hey, I said I'm being transparent; and look were it got me! All it takes is believing in yourself... mixed with a little bit of "I'm done with this bull-shit".

Moving to Seattle in 2014, I fell in love with art, science and fashion which influenced my creativity and is reflected in my artwork. In 2017, I won the title of Miss Africa Washington State which brought me closer to my roots and opened my eyes to the importance of “representation”.

My mission is to create a different perspective of what is known as “African Art”, by creating art through the eyes of a new generation. I continue to support the African community by organizing auction and fundraisers.
